Josefine is a holistic trauma therapist, and a trauma informed spiritual teacher. She is fully committed & devoted to her path of assisting people in facilitating a safe space where the transmutation of pain and suffering into a life full of purpose, love and freedom can occur. Healing is to make whole, and wholeness marks the foundation of working with Josefine. As trauma creates fragmentation and distortions to psyche, soma and Soul, it impacts ways in which you live and form relationships.

The relationship with yourself is the most important one, as it sets the foundation for all other relationships. Healing relational trauma is to invite more space and safety into the entirety of your being so that you may have the capacity to make choices not dictated by unconscious trauma responses. Safety is key for presence, and it is only through presence where you can establish agency and a sense of inner authority.

Josefine works with people from all walks of life, from all over the world. She specializes in deep soul work and her Dharma is to help people heal from complex ptsd, ptsd, codependency, dissociative identity disorder and other psychological responses to past harm and hurt. Rather than treating the symptoms of the original core wounding, she compassionately guides you through to the moments in time which is causing distress and

dis-ease in the present.

Original core wounds create a ripple effect of disruptive adaptive identities and shadow archetypes, put into place by the unconscious as a means of survival.

More and more people are hearing the call to embark on a soul-awakening journey of healing, self-discovery and realignment with the essence of who they truly are.

If any of this resonates with you or if you are curious to know where to begin, get in touch.

These and so many more can all be symptoms of trauma and an imbalance of the energetic distribution throughout your body and psyche. It is expressed through unconscious behaviours and patterns to satisfy unmet childhood needs, means of survival, soul fragmentation, protection, love & emotional safety. They are sometimes translated through the physical body as a way to call for your attention.

The unconscious creates unhealthy habits due to old patterns of familiarity which affect your day-to-day life. Unprocessed pain within the unconscious directly affects the neuro-plasticity of your brain. A brain wired to survive a dangerous world will perceive the external environment as such and seek safety from outside of itself rather than from within, which creates a sense of dependency.

But it's important to highlight that the unconscious is so much more than the pain, it also contains immense treasure and wisdom about you, as a human and a Soul.

Josefine refers to the wounded aspects of the psyche as the shadow. An energetic container which contains repressed emotional and spiritual material which is too painful and overwhelming to look at and digest. Instead it expresses itself in unconscious ways such as emotional suffering, disconnection, physical ailments, internal/external conflict etc. The shadow is made up of many different parts which represent past memories and relational dynamics to self & others. By engaging and inviting them to come to light, may the disruptive behaviours created from trauma dissolve. The ways in which you unconsciously relate within yourself creates the foundation for all other relationships.

The shadow can make itself known through fears of not being accepted, rejected, abandoned and deep feelings of shame, grief, loneliness and despair.
